A community of RCIA practitioners seeking to draw people to Christ.
The Christian Initiation Australia Network CIAN is a communication and support network for Australians who share the vision of the catechumenate. The CIAN is made up of Australian pastoral ministers, liturgists, catechists, theologians and all those interested in the Catechumenate. Their purpose is to share the vision and promote the practice of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) through sharing ideas and challenges. The CIAN conducts ongoing formation at the national level. CIAN Membership is open to all Australians who have a commitment to and work with RCIA in Australia.
For a small annual fee CIAN Members get exclusive access to formation materials and notifications of upcoming events where they can engage in live discussions with experienced RCIA practitioners. Members are also able to participate in our biennial conference.
CIAN’s quarterly Network News publication provides information to help RCIA practitioners guide adults along the journey of faith, as well as notifications of upcoming events, and useful RCIA resources.
